Mappamory Privacy Policy

Mappamory is a private map app for recording important people, shared memories, places, photos, and related personal notes.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, how that information is stored, and how users can contact the developer.

Information You Add to the App

Mappamory may let you create or store the following information on your device:

• People, names, notes, and relationship-related details that you choose to enter.
• Memory records, dates, descriptions, tags, and associated places.
• Location or place information selected through Apple Maps and system location services.
• Photos, avatars, and image files that you choose to add.
• Backup files that you choose to export or import.

This information is created and controlled by you.

Local Storage

Mappamory currently stores app data locally on your device.

The app does not currently provide a developer-operated account system, cloud sync service, or server-side database for your personal records.

If you export a backup file, you control where that file is saved or shared through iOS system features.

Apple Services

Mappamory may use Apple system services and frameworks to provide app functionality, including:

• Apple Maps and location-related services for map display, place search, and place selection.
• The Photos and file picker experiences when you choose photos or backup files.
• TestFlight during beta testing.

Apple may process information according to Apple’s own privacy policies when you use Apple services, TestFlight, App Store, iCloud, diagnostics, or system-level features.

TestFlight Beta Testing

During TestFlight beta testing, Apple may collect crash logs, diagnostics, tester feedback, screenshots submitted by testers, device information, and related beta testing data.

The developer may review this TestFlight feedback in App Store Connect to diagnose crashes, improve app stability, and respond to tester reports.

Data Collection by the Developer

Mappamory does not currently use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or developer-operated tracking systems.

The developer does not sell personal data.

The developer does not use the app to track users across apps or websites owned by other companies.

If future versions add accounts, cloud sync, analytics, crash reporting SDKs, or other network services, this Privacy Policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated before those features are released.

Permissions

Mappamory may request iOS permissions only when needed for app features. For example:

• Location permission may be requested for map or current-location features.
• Photo library or file access may be requested when you choose images, import files, or export backups.

You can manage permissions in the iOS Settings app.

Deleting Your Data

You can delete app data through app features where available, through iOS storage management, or by deleting the app from your device.

Deleting the app may remove local app data from the device, subject to iOS behavior and any files you previously exported or saved outside the app.

Children’s Privacy

Mappamory is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-operated server or account system.
