Manual
Google Drive backup
Connect your own Google Drive, back up AI-MarkDone bookmark snapshots, and restore with safe merge when needed.
Use this when
Your bookmarks have become real working material, and you want a safer copy before reinstalling the browser, switching machines, or cleaning extension data.
Where to open it
Open AI-MarkDone Settings, go to the data or backup area, choose Google Drive backup, and connect your own Google account.
How to use it
- Click connect Google Drive.
- Finish the Google authorization flow.
- Return to Settings and choose Back up now.
- When restoring, review the backup list first, then choose safe-merge restore.
Worth knowing
- Backup runs only after you turn it on.
- AI-MarkDone handles its own backup files.
- Export a local backup before restoring, especially if the data matters.
- If you revoke Google access, cloud backup stops. Local bookmarks are not deleted by that.
Next
For a local copy first, read Import and export. For the formal data boundary, read the Privacy Policy.
The screenshot should make it clear that Drive backup is opt-in, not automatic upload.
