Some answers need to leave ChatGPT: notes, shared documents, archives, or images. Each destination needs a different format.
AI-MarkDone keeps Markdown, PDF, PNG, and multi-image ZIP export in one flow, so you do not need to keep taking screenshots and fixing layout by hand.
When to use it
- Markdown: you will keep editing.
- PDF: you need a stable archive or document.
- PNG: you need a visual share.
- ZIP: you are exporting multiple message images.
- Deep Research cleanup: the content is useful, but the copied structure is messy.
Where to open it
Use Save Messages or a related export action from the message toolbar. For a single visual copy, use Copy as PNG.
Steps
- Select the messages you want to export.
- Open Save Messages.
- Choose Markdown, PDF, or PNG.
- Wait for ZIP packaging when exporting several PNG files.
- Watch the progress panel for long PNG exports; cancel if needed.
- For messy Deep Research output, clean it into readable Markdown before saving or exporting.
- Open the exported file and check formulas, tables, and code blocks.

Which format should I export first?
If you are unsure, export Markdown first. It is the easiest format to edit later.
Can long PNG export stall?
Dense content can take time. AI-MarkDone splits tall rendered content into safer chunks and shows progress, but very complex answers may still need patience.
